Domaine Asmara Vineyard is located in the heart of the Heathcote Wine Region. The soils are Red Cambrian, which were formed more than 500 million years ago. The wines are 100% hand crafted, which includes hand pruning, hand picking and basket pressing.
Wine selected from best barriques. This wine has immense power and concentration. Suitable for long term cellaring (15 years +). Only produced in outstanding vintages.
 
Grape varieties: 100% Cabernet Sauvignon
 
Tasting: Deep, bright colour: a tangy, juicy cabernet with a savoury flavor profile. A totally delicious fusion of cassis with fine-grained cabernet tannins on the long, medium to full-bodied palate.
 
Companion: Any red meat dish (especially beef, lamb), duck, pastas, but also fish or seafood. To some degree, spicy Asian food is fine.
