Domaine Asmara Vineyard is located in the heart of the Heathcote Wine Region. The soils are Red Cambrian, which were formed more than 500 million years ago. The wines are 100% hand crafted, which includes hand pruning, hand picking and basket pressing.
Wine selected from best barriques. This wine has immense power and concentration.
Suitable for long term cellaring (20 years +). Only produced in outstanding vintages.

Tasting: The colour is totally impenetrable, almost black. A powerful nose of dark fruit flavours. The tannins are seamlessly integrated into this full-bodied wine. Excellent cellaring potential. Fasten Your Seatbelts!
 
Companion: This is really for savoury food, especially beef steaks etc. This wine is almost a meal on it's own: it is very dense, concentrated and has a very long finish on the palate.
